Store bought eggs left out on counter for 4 days!

I hope several people will chime in, in reply because I need advice. We have several hens who have been going through such a molt that we haven't gotten any of our eggs in weeks. So Saturday I broke down and bought eggs from the store and because I'm so used to leaving OUR eggs on the counter, I absentmindedly placed them on the counter and didn't realize my mistake until this morning when I began contemplating using them for deviled eggs for Thanksgiving tomorrow. They've been out of the refrigerator for 4 days now. Should they be thrown away or dare I cook them for a crowd of 22?

I’d toss them. They were washed AND refrigerated before. So no bloom to protect them.

This was a good answer.
When in doubt, throw it out.

I'd crack one open in a bowl and see what they look like before tossing them. Unless your kitchen is warm and even then so, they should be fine.

If an egg is bad, you will smell it when you crack it open. If you are cooking these eggs thoroughly then there is no risk in my opinion.... be guided by your eyes and nose.
