Store bought eggs to hatch?

My supermarket guarantees their hens are without a rooster, but if yours doesn't, why not? I'm watching.
Also, I heard that braddock white duck eggs are likely to be fertile because they are so hard to sex, sometimes drakes get mixed in with the girls!
Pippin, I finally figured out those "heiroglyphics" under your name! 🤣🤣🤣 Did you design those yourself, they're brilliant!

Hanks grocery store was selling some eggs from a local Hispanic farmer. They have many colors, I grabbed the carton with all the gray eggs, because I like gray, but the eggs were blue, green, pink, yellow, and spotty brown. The only draw back is they put the eggs in pointy end up. But when candled the air cells were fine, but one. If I was to guess, there are about a dozen cartons left. I have hatched these before. Out of 11 set last time 10 hatched. (This batch is gray and light green.)

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone.

Even though tomorrow is the seventh day I'll be gone most of the day and be too tired to give an update. This morning I checked all 40 eggs. All the eggs but 3 show signs of development!

My camera couldn't pick up the little black spot through the dark egg shells. Though I am going to leave all of them in another few days and check again. :fl
