Hi! I wanted to do a thread on show chickens because I love them Just post stories, pictures, comment and have fun!

I raise bantam Buckeye and d’Anvers. The Ancona is my mother’s but she was so pretty I just had to take a picture. I take photos at shows and love sharing them.

No limit but there is a minimum. I can’t remember what it is because they aren’t mature enough to consider until four months but I think three is *technically* allowed.

I used to show in 4H, but don't do APA shows now that I know people can still bring birds that could be sick without symptoms

Mom’s Ancona, named Kuzco. She spells Kuzco wrong all the time. He’s friendly but mean, I have mixed feelings about him. Our Anconas have really improved over the years.

I was so impressed by the huge display of black frizzle Cochins, all in condition and with great type and color. To own that many frizzles, and have them in condition at the same time, that’s no easy feat! Sometimes it’s hard to tell if they are standing up or where their head is.
