In OK there are SO much room. Not every town has it's own police force, just like every town doesn't have it's own fire department.

Really glad she had that protection with her...nobody should lose the right to defend themselves.

Unfortunately, police don't have teleporters or space bridges to get them where they need to be. Or clones to cover for them when they are working another incident.

Anyway, dang! The mother is still a kid herself! To keep her wits during that kind of altercation is incredible! She needs to go into law enforcement with her talent.
