I'm about to start collecting some hatching eggs but the weather has warmed up and the coolest room in my house is around 72F with 50% humidity. I don't have anywhere with 50F conditions except my fridge which is 40. Will it be okay to hold eggs for 6 days in the 72 degree room?

I place mine in a cooler. With a blue ice pack. On a tilt/in a carton, pointed end down. I change the direction of the tilt a couple times a day. And swap out the ice pack daily. 55*F-65*F is an optimum storage temp for fertile eggs.

Glad to have seen this asked - we too have begun storing eggs inside (rather than in the shed like we had been before) to see if that may improve viability - they are currently at a room temp of 72*F. I like the cooler idea, just need to get one of those blue ice pack things - have the rest of that setup already :)
