What do you store your feed in I had a plastic bin I put it in but it broke and I'm looking for new ideas

I use these. Cattle protein/mineral tubs. They are sturdy plastic. The lid snaps on tight but is easy to remove. You can store a couple of bags of feed in one. Got mine at a rural yard sale. If you know someone who raises cattle they might have some or direct you to someone who does. Or your feed store might tell you who buys them. I just dump feed in and scoop out.

I use 5 gallon buckets that have snap close lids. One 50 lb bag fits in 2 buckets.
I can move 25 lbs easier than 50. They stack for storage and are rodent proof.
Plus best of all they also double as a chair for me to sit and visit with the girls during chore time!

I use metal garbage cans. The larger one I have fits 2 50 lb bags of feed with a little headroom for my scooper and whatever little bag of treats I want to store (such as BOSS or other seeds).

As others noted, squirrels will chew through plastic. I'd assume mice may as well.

I live on several acres. At least 80% oak trees. So I have a lot of squirrels. They do chew other plastic but so far have never touched one or these tubs. They are slick and have no corners so probably inconvenient to chew on.
