One hatch, several pips. Sadly, the hatch is prolapsed. I thought it herneated through the abdominal wall at first, but its not that bad. We are hopeful, but not optimistic.

Also, my Kebonnixs incubator is misbehaving. I'm going to have to disassemble the head unit and give it a very thorough cleaning when this hatching is done. The heater element briefly stuck on - thankfully, the overtemp warning works just fine.

Hi ya’ll. How did I miss this page with so many familiar names?
Hope you don’t mind me following.
Mind???? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Welcome to the Thread!

Looks like another poor duck hatching. Should setchicks next, but I have so many still to cull from last year, i may do ducks again after tI takeapart the incubator for a good once over.

Today, however, I have to rewire the trailer and get some plywood to fix a soft spot in the RV floor. (Overlay, NOT a tear down and replace. Doing otherwise would be a job of weeks, since I'll make other changes to the RV when I do that. Like rewire for 220/50 and install a mini-split - if I can find ANY space that will allow that and still permit the bump outs to work...)

What kind of RV?

After my dad retired he lived in a trailer, then an RV and drove around the US. When he hit 90 he parked in front of my property for the last three years of his life. It was a positive experience and he was mostly independent until he passed away. I would have kept his RV but it needed more work than I was capable of doing.

technically, its a trailer - no engine. its a 30' +/- Forest River Ultralite from last decade with two bump outs, an "outside kitchen" and a single roof mounted A/C unit which is supposed to run on a single 30a supply leg. Hahahahahahahhahaha.

We weren't supposed to be in it nearly this long, but between the Pandemic and the massive change in interest rates, following a year of delays from our architect and his engineer... I have a foundation, underslab plumbing and some wall forms in place. Not enough forms to finish the walls, no concrete to fill them, and no roof - much less finishing it out once the the box is cast.

How many square feet?

In the winter, our living space shrinks by about 1/3-1/2. Hubby moves his computer downstairs and I have to get to :laulisten to his computer games. Andrasia says the same things over and over and over...

Looking forward to May and his spring migration back upstairs!
