Arbequina. To eat or make oil? Wish they could grow in my climate!
Potentially, both. Depending on how well they do, I may plant more.

Don't blame them. I love green ones tooDid you know that squirrels love GREEN strawberries
Hmmm... over wintered in my green house...?Arbequina.
Arbequina don't get huge - big bush/small tree size - so you clould overwinter the first year or two, maybe as much as five years if you have monster pots and a way to move them. But after that, you are either giving the green house over to the olives, or not overwintering anymore.Hmmm... over wintered in my green house...?
But our really cold spell did take out the kale that had sprouted in pots, under cover.![]()
We have some rain coming too but the temps are suppose to be nice. If I can finish prepping the bed before the rain comes I will plant my green peas this weekend.Looks like more rain this weekend. Will candle the duck eggs, see how that's going, maybe spend a little time walking the elelectric fence (its overdue), start reorganizing the freezer. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to send a few birds to freezer camp - but mostly NOT expecting a productive weekend.![]()
