A lot -- most? -- of the funding for schools came from property taxes. When we all got excited about property tax relief, some of us said, well, how will you fund the schools? But that wasn't addressed with the same enthusiasm.


Not much there, for family.

Thinking about a land conservancy. Know anything about those?

Not a thing.

and on that happy note, I need to go fix the other side of the electric fence. and make my new sprinkler risers. The old ones were too tall, so cutting them in half, making twice as many.

Between the rain and the hoses I finally have a little bit of green coming up. Not near enough to start feeding the birds or the goats but enough that they're treating the pasture like a sprouting tray. I wonder that any of it will survive

Just been crazy busy. Some things broke in the RV mostly fixed, lots of gardening, had to restructure all the grapes this year. Electric fence broke in a couple places work's been busy people visiting etc etc etc. You know what happened. Anyhow we're all good here just busy
