Anything new? How's the floor project?
Need to pull a couch and a desk out. So that I can finish the floor project. This weekend out of propane, in the middle of nowhere. Trying to fill it up so that we can finish cooking dinner. The closest place with propane doesn't have an employee on hand right now to actually pump propane. The next closest place will be closed before I can get there.
Did I mention I am out of gas? It's raining. Other than that just greatttnr.gnastsaftmInnId

Sorry for your troubles. You need to add a guage to keep a check on your tanks. Helps a lot.

If you unexpectedly ran out of propane, you may want to make sure you did not damage a line or fitting doing the floor repair. Be safe!

Get you an electric skillet for back up.

Had a propane leak, outside the camper. Its fixed. I have a dual tank setup, one of the regulator hoses is "persnickety". Next replacement, I'll go to a two stage regulator/single tank system and just move tanks. I can't find a reliable hose mfg whose fittings stay sealed at the tank connection for more than a few years. I've already replaced both tanks, as well.

and yes, an induction hotplate as a backup is on the list. Could have fired up the smoker, used the sous vide, built a wood fire, or grabbed the charcoal. but as it was already 8pm, and stir fry was both planned and prepped... Propane was needed.

Monday, monday... Na na, nah nah nah na. Na nah, nah na nah na...

Did you ever get your green house built?
NOPE!

Its moved back up in the priority list, now that the floor is fixed. Installing/reinstalling a couple new cabinet doors and sliding drawers this AM, groceries later, really need to build a fire, now that we've had 2"+ of rain, then start work on it again tomorrow. I only have 160# of mortar mix on hand right now, almost certainly not enough.

Also need to find my string blocks.

(Had I just set 4x4s on the ground and built up, it would have been done very quickly - but because the ground is sloped, I chose to dig a footer and build a short masonry wall as the base. Adds thermal mass to buffer temp swings, secures the base against shifting, and keeps water/dirt from running quickly downhill and damaging the panels. Also "adds height" by sinking the floor some.
