Story Away!

yeah i have bunnies

Awe...cute little things. Is the first one a netherland? Can't remember the breed name of the bottom one, but it reminds me of a ruby eyed white I had named Jellybean. I've got 2 buns too. Supposedly pure bred Holland Lops, but they're too big & wrong head shape. I love having buns around...have had them for 20 years. Several years ago I was looking into breeding/showing Hollands....so I had 8 I think. Plus an English Lop then friends living with me had to have buns...another English Lop, 2 white rex, & later a rescue pair I took to find a home for. I think At one time it was a dozen or so at once. Truly bunny crazy. lol

i think i am getting Egyptian Fayoumis, and Rhode Island Reds. (RIRs.)
i feel so bad for my roos. they aren't fighting to the death, only fighting to establish the pecking order, but i still feel bad. they won't let up.

The Egyptian should be neat. The roos will settle once they work it out---even more so when the pullets arrive for them.

Sorry. Advantage to once you're in your own place. No one can say no except you...until you live someone that is. I think about more, but with the house to finish for remodel, chickens to get squared, etc. I don't need to add another project. Bad enough when something needs to be fixed creeps onto the list.

If you've a boy & girl you could always have an 'oops'....trust me, won't take even an hour to potentially get babies. I had a bun litter happen that way. I was moving & put them in the same box for just over an hour & next thing I knew unexpected babies.
