Story Away!

your bunnies are adorable. wish i had bunnies.
They are a fun critter to have. My first bun, Simon, I had trained not to go out of my room. He was also trained to stay on a beach towel. He was something. The 2 I have now hang out in the yard, though Maggie has been known to come inside thru the dog door opening when I don't have it blocked. My dane likes to play chase with them, but they sort of play. The bun I had before them would let Jasper chase her, then stop until he caught up & then he'd stop with taking a step back then she'd take off again. It was neat to watch. I don't know if I'll ever find another bun like that.

This is how much into buns I am....I collect stuffed bunnies. Especially Build-A-Bear bunnies. I don't them all, there are some I haven't like or couldn't afford at the time. My friend made me a blanket with a bunny pattern on it 14 years ago that I still have & use all the time. I have bunnies all over the house (a stuffed one on my stove even!). I did have a bunny sponge holder at my kitchen sink, but 1 of the polish flew over to my kitchen window & tried to roost there knocking stuff off of the sill & an ear broke off. I've got to fix it, but I think it'll still be usable. I even had a silver charm of a bunny at one time...I lost it & haven't found another to replace it. There are other bunny knickknacks around too. I even have a small candy tray that's Santa with bunnies that my Mom found me. So, at 45 years of age....I am a bunny addict. I can admit it.

Me too, but if they get closer to outside age the more I can ask for them. For the boys...I might just have to figure something out. There's a girl on the other side of the valley who's posted on a Facebook group & maybe here too about a rooster pick up service. She says she won't eat them if she says she won't & will either keep them, find them another home, or take them to a feed store over there. I can take them to a feed store myself & post for new home, etc.

How can you eat bantams??????? Especially smaller ones....is there really that much meat on their little bodies?!
