Thank you. He's sooooo quiet too. Barely hear it when he does crow. Little on the shy side, but will settle in for handling. He's 1 of the boys I can't keep. This is my little stinker Freddie, who I decided not to keep too. That is breaking my heart, but I think he needs his own flock. I know zilch about showing, but I'm wondering if he might be good for someone. They all could be house roos with outside access.he is so cute! as bright eyed as a day old calf.
That's awesome. I figure I'd have a total of 7 roos...assuming Mo is a cockerel. 3 hens isn't enough for my older roo...he needs more. I was aiming for him to have at least 10 with getting the 14 2 month olds....I took a gamble for getting that many at once for any I would lose & maybe a boy or two, but got 6 boys!aww. i have the same problem with my roos. i have 5. except i am getting more hens to balance it out.
Copper & Freddie are both Old English Bantams. Copper is a gold laced & Freddie is a brassy back. Let's that's what I was told for Freddie. I had someone say they thought Copper was mixed with sebright, but they're from my feed store who gets their chicks from Ideal. So, in theory they shouldn't be mixed. Quality wise for markings, etc. I'm clueless.what breed is he he handsome
