Shelly watched as the others left for the night. She would find them again tomorrow, they seemed rather friendly and not much of a threat.
Shutting the door of "her" car, she stepped into the door of a nearby warehouse. Shee, it was dusty in there. It was also rather dark, she couldn't see a thing. Nope, she would prefer to sleep in the car tonight, even if there was a bigger chance of getting caught out there.

Blake stopped moving, his mouth frozen in mid-sentence. Eli looked at him strangly, wondering why he had tensed up so suddenly. Curiousity nagged at him, but he knew better to ask.

"Did you hear that?" Blake asked, rising quickly to his feet and heading into an adjoining room without waiting for an answer.

Eli hurried after him, not wanting to be left alone in the dark room.

Silence ensued in the warehouse as Shelly lay down on the floor of the car, wearing only a few flimsy clothes. She wrapped her arms around herself to keep warm.

Blake pulled a lighter out of his pocket and flicked it open, casting a yellow glow across the contents of the room. He nudged Eli and pointed with the lighter to the faint outline of footsteps in the dust on the floor. "Someone's been here," He said softly, not wanting to raise his voice in case the other person was a threat.

"They are small, maybe a girls" Eli pointed out sensibly.

Blake nodded "Well, whoever it was is gone now." He turned and headed back into the room where they had set up their sleeping table.

At their base:
Roselle fell asleep leaning on Foalan. He stayed awake. Josh moved and murmured in his sleep. Victoria had dissapeared off to somewhere. Ellie walked around in circles.

Shelly's eyelids twitched. She was sure she had just seen a soft glow of light through them, but looking out of the window, all was dark. "I must be seeing things. Time to go to bed," she muttered to herself.

Eli sat down on the table and leaned down to unlace his boots, setting them neatly by one of the table legs. Blake kicked off his own boots and left them laying underneath the table, not bothering to line to up neatly like Eli had done. He sat down opposite the other boy and grimaced at it sagged under their combined weight. "I'll take the floor," Eli offered.

Blake snorted "And have you wake me up in the middle of the night cause you seen a rat? Not a chance, I'll take the floor." He rose back to his feet and slipped his feet back into his boots.

Eli smiled gratefully, he knew Blake didn't mean what he said about the rats "Thanks"
