"Is anyone even there?" Ellie called.

In one fluid movement, Blake stepped up behind her, pressing the cold, silver bladed knife to her throat just above her collar bone and wrapping his free hand acround her chests so she couldn't get away. He pushed down slightly, but only enough for it to feel incomfortable, not break the skin or leave a mark. In the same moment, Eli stepped in front of her and grabbed her wrists, preventing her from using the knife she was carrying on them. He glanced down at the kitchen knife she waw holding and tightened his grip slightly, not wanting her to get loose and stab him or something. "Drop it, and we won't hurt you." Blake hissed in her ear.

She dropped the knife.

Elena sat down in the subway, waiting for the train to arrive. While waiting, she had almost succeeded in steeling a purse, until the woman holding it tugged it away from the girl and gave her a firm slap across the cheeks.

lol. the line about the shoes. :p
(Reminds me of my adventures in SY, blending in with the locals. I'll tell you later.)
Shelly couldn't sleep. She looked at her stolen watch. It said "9:30". 9:30?! Why was she going to bed at 9:30?! Perhaps the watch was broken. Either way, she didn't want to attempt to get to sleep in the musty old car anymore.
She got up, dusted off her tattered clothes, straightening the slightly less battered shorts, her pride and joy. She joined in the crowd of people on the sidewalk that the alley led off of, looking for rich people to pickpocket. She couldn't wait until she was 18 and could apply for a traineeship. But in the meantime, she needed to eat...

(lol, sounds interesting)
Gabe spotted her in the crowd, not knowing her personally, but having seen her several times in the group.
He waved at her and approached, figuring now would be just as good as any time to introduce himself.

Alicia crouched in an alley way, several items sprawled out in front of her.
It was a rather clean alley, neatly lined cans lined one of the walls. She was going over her latest finds, choosing which ones to keep or dump.
