STORY

She sent him back to Stew, who was keeping the hatchling hidden in the barn. Bob arrived in front of the barn early in the morning and pecked at the door. Stew opened the door, look around behind Bob, and then quickly beckoned him in. "Come in, son. Ya're just in time for warm oatmeal." "Ok. But, I should see the Phoenix first, I think." "Very well, boy. I think ya know best. Come this way. I've keeping him warm by the heater over here." When they came to the heater, Bob saw more flames coming from the Phoenix than the what he could see inside the old heater and wonder what the point of keeping him warm was. As though he had read his mind, Stew said, "Well actually, the flames sort of keep'm company." With that Bob knew what he must do first.
