Straight run bantam numbers?

I'm struggling to convince that chickens are a GREAT idea, they've already seen that I'll take care of them, I'll pay for the whole thing, I'll build as much chicken coop as I can on my own, but it's still not being accepted.
I wish you luck. My daughter just doesn't want the whole yard taken up by coops but yet she won't let me re-home her to roos. I bought 2 and she bought 2. Mine are a 💑 couple and hers are just trying to step up. 3 roos won't last without problems I'm reading. Only time will tell.

She doesn't want the whole yard taken up by coops? A yard of coops is my dream! :lau Once they start fighting, she'll think otherwise about how much she really wants to keep both of them. Bachelor pad is an option, but there's the yard coop issue...

When I've purchased all pullets, I've still gotten boys. Straight run I got 50/50 - but I only bought four of the straight runs.
Pullets, out of 15, I got two cockerels.

Yep, I'm aware of the possible roos from sexed pullets. I just figured that the chance is way lower when you're buying the sexed ones.

I keep a bachelor flock. It currently numbers 8 - ranging in age from 6 mos to three years. As long as there are no ladies in the pen, they get along just fine!

I'm still figuring out my chicks ordering, and my parents I might want to do bantams. I've looked into MPC but they have a limited breed selection and sexed bantams there are super expensive. Straight run I know is technically 50/50, but it always seems to have way more cockerels based on what I've seen on BYC. If I only have room for 14 bantams at MAXIMUM CAPACITY, and can't have cockerels/roosters, how many of each breed should I buy to try to get at least one female of each breed?
Meyer Hatchery will ship a minimum of 3 chicks. Their bantams are straight run, but standard and rare breeds are reasonably priced by gender. If you order a trio of each breed you want, you should get at least a pair of each, even with the 90% guarantee.

I'd love to have a bachelor pad/rooster rescue at some point in life, once I get my fantasy big country property. Right now we have some issues...parents and neighbors :(
