Got 12 new chickies for the flock. Straight run mix around 7 days old. (I love raising fall chickens!!) They had a list of possible breeds included but there's a couple in not sure of. I know for sure I have 2 buff orpington, 1 barred rock, 3 sapphire Plymouth rock, and 2 production rhode island red. 2 I'm fairly certain are silver laced wyandotte. The other two I'm unsure if they are Ameraucana or Easter Eggers. They look like little chipmunks with fluffy puffy cheeks! So darn cute! I'm also a bit concerned that one of my RIR may end up a roo because the two are such different colors. What do you all think? Actually hoping for a rooster, but not a RIR. Had one once that was pure evil. First two pics are wing color on the RIRs. Pic 3 is one of the chipmunks. The other is very similar just lighter in color. Pics 4 and 5 are my Wyandotte posing. Other pics just cuz.
