Strange behavior

It's been a few years now sicne my drake passed away and I rehomed my duck. I found an old video of them doing their weird ritualistic type dance that they did about 9 months before he died, they did it often for a couple of weeks then it stopped. I know it looks like maybe they're nibbling the cinder block but I can tell you they were not touching anything.

No wonder you miss them...They were very pretty ducks. Mine will sometimes do a head bobbing thing - especially around the pool- or before or after mating.

I have seen the head bob your talking about, that is a much faster motion, they'd do that when they were excited or right before mating. when they were doing this they'd rock their jaw like they were drinking and you can see my duck (momma duck) dip her head up like she's getting a drink, but their water was in the grey frost killed bucket behind them.
