I hadn't heard of the breed either and had to google. They sure are pretty!

TSC gets a bunch of birds from various hatcheries and sometimes, they just dump them into general categories like "red pullets". They know nothing about chickens, unless one store lucks out and has an educated flock keeper for an employee. You never know what you're going to get at TSC. It's a complete crap shoot. And then there's the one that is put in the wrong bin by someone who should not be picking them up in the first place, so anything goes at TSC.
