My female Toulouse goose, Sniper, somehow managed to hurt herself a few days ago. She was fine earlier in the day when I let them into their enclosure, but later on towards the end of the day, she was laying on the ground unable to walk. She has no visible injuries. I've been giving her some water therapy in the bathtub with some nice warm bath soaks, and encouraging her to paddle with both legs, which she does easily. Just for some reason is unable to walk/stand. She still eats (not nearly as much as she would normally though), and drinks. She's still a little talkative, but not as much as she used to be before the injury.
Ok with that said, today after I got home from work, I brought her inside for her water therapy in the bathtub. She usually poos within the first minute of being in the tub. She didn't this time, but I didn't think much of it. I let her soak an hour, then came back to check on her and see how big of a mess she made for me. There was absolutely no poo. I stayed in there a bit with her and she did eventually poo, but...it was strange. There were these black round/oval shaped pieces in her poo that floated, while everything else sank.
Now, is this normal poo? I honestly have no clue what could be wrong with her, so if this is somehow connected to her inability to walk, I'd like to know. I want to help her get better as soon as possible. I hate seeing her like this
