Yes, as coach said, round up to the next mark if needed. Be sure and shake the liquid well each time, since it is a supension, so that each dose will be exact. I will sometimes shake it and pour a small amount in a small cup, then draw up each dose after stirring it.

A little too much is better than not enough. Better to round up than down.

That is the recommended withdrawl period. So for two doses 10 days apart that's 24 days total. Some follow the recommendation, some ignore it, do what you are comfortable with.

Well at least the timing works out, pretty much only my Browns are laying currently thanks to less daylight. I really appreciate all this knowledge!

And for orally dosing someone on another thread mentioned the technique, gently take the wattles and slowly open the mouth to administer, correct?

That's correct, some are very easy, some fight a bit. Some you may have to wrap your hand around the back of the head and put your thumb and finger at opposite corners of the beak to help hold it open.

Ok, got the oral solution. Is there any harm in slightly overdosing vs underdosing?? And for eggs, it's 14 days after each dose? Wow, $300 a pop is def not cheap!! Thanks all, this will be my first deworming, just want to get it right and keep my birds healthy!

How much did you pay? I just saw Safeguard suspension for $24.95 at my local Farm and Fleet store while I was picking up a new waterer. As I suspected, they took Wazine off the shelves, glad I have some on hand.

$30 for 125ml, apparently Wazine has been out for some time now.

Took almost 2 hours but first dose down!! We had to rough guess the weight and dosage as all our flock were too light for our digital scale. Would an analog scale be better for poultry weighing? If anything we may have slightly overdosed but I'd like to be more precise for round 2.
