Strange poop...ughhh

Don't stress, you are doing good for your "chooks". Some farmer/owners wouldn't even notice until a hen dropped dead. I observe my 7 hens every day and sometimes more often. I'm sure they're like, "do you have something else to do??"

Thanks! I know, and honestly I saw that poop by mere chance today, and of all the other poop piles I searched and tore apart afterwards that was the only one to have something in it.

So I found this poop just a short while ago from the same coop where the worm poop was originally found. All birds have had one treatment of Safeguard this past Saturday evening.

Not quite sure what the red stuff is, I have heard intestinal lining being shed is normal. All birds seem rather more alert and active.

So another positive is now their molt has seemingly begun hardcore and new feathers are growing everywhere. We have had the 3 hens since mid September when they were already molting but new feathers were either slow growing or not forming at all. Now, it's an amazing difference!!
