Strange wispy feather growth

What is the protein percentage of the feed? I use Purina Flock Raiser 20% protein. I have also fed Purina Layer, Nutrena Layer, both 16% protein. As long as you’re not diluting your protein by feeding a lot of scratch, corn, or other treats, you are probably doing okay. But you can bump her protein up to 20% for awhile just to see if it makes a difference. Just feed 90% of their diet as chicken food.

I provide a 16% organic layer crumble and they don't get much along the lines of scraps or treats.....especially in the winter. All the other birds are doing just fine, so I really don't think the feed is the issue.

Well, that is up to you, just a suggestion to increase the protein. I looked to find causes of feather problems, and almost every article said that feather problems could be from feed issues. Something else that I might do if I had the problem, is to give them vitamin/mineral in the feed several days a week. Trace minerals deficiencies have been know to cause a lot of different problems.
