Yes, that's what it looks like in the photo, but it's hard to be sure you know what it's like if you haven't seen it in "real life". I have some "plastic" (polypropylene) outdoor "stuff", I would think you could put car polish on them without any ill-effect if you wanted to protect the finish (but my things are beige and brown, so not as necessary to stop smuts as white would be, and I've not had to put something right next to it that might stain). Yes, if there's some better wax/polish then that might work. I don't really know, just throwing some ideas out there. The manufacturer might have some good info, I can imagine people would need some tips as to how to keep a white fence white.
