Hi,
Recently adopted a rescue duck (Friday)
She is my first duck/water foul I have ever been around. So I am new to this.
Yesterday she had white stringy stuff coming out of her vent. She hasn't laid any eggs since we brought her home.
Can someone help me?

:welcome

Could you post a picture of it and her vent? Is she eating drinking? How does her poop look, can you get a picture of that too?

I will work on it today. She eats and drinks very well, we just brought her home on Friday. I know that she was eating a very weird plethora of things that the apartment residents were throwing her (she was stuck in a pond) ie bread and fries.
I hadn't noticed the stringy stuff all weekend, it wasn't until yesterday that I noticed it.
She also has a dirty looking belly. I am reaching out to a local farm vet to see if I can get her in.

Ok. So my husband cleaned up most of the poop before I could get a picture, but luckily she let one go in the pool immediately after I cleaned it. See photos
