working on stuck egg right now - need info

I have read to put them in a warm bath to calm the muscles and relax the bird to pass it. Also maybe some sort of lubricant to help pass it.

I am on the phone with the hen-owner and on the computor with all of you. The vet gave the hen a shot of oxytocin(?sp) and owner has chicken in warm bath and is 'adding ' olive oil with massage through vent. Will let you all know outcome.
