Stuck in a Blizzard

You got tons more than me. Mine just blew around and made killer drifts.

I haven't even attempted to gain entry to that run. That will change if one of that group fails to make it in to bed.

I want to knock the snow off the roof of the bantam house. That would be hip deep no matter which side I try for.

26" up here in Coal Creek Canyon, but it was less windy than down on the flats. Both these pictures are outside my coop. I had to dig in to get eggs because snow was halfway up the door. The toddler in the second photo is not as mad as she looks, she just got a little snow on her face.

We’re all shoveled out now but the chicken run still has a bunch of snow it in but we laid down straw and the ladies seem to be doing okay with it.

I am glad to hear all is well at your place.
First winters are rough enough on chicken people. Adding this years horrible cold snap AND this big snow it can be downright discouraging.
