I can check around for some studies on pithing, if you're interested? It's one method I haven't looked into much.

That is what it is called now, I believe. We just called it killing! I am interested to see if it is obsolete now, new and better things seem to be everywhere!

I have not killed a bird in about 20 years. Only Parrots since 1989! Just counted, make that 30 years!

The duck finisher I posted in the other thread would be pithing. It might take a little more practice to hold a chicken still with their shorter beaks, but a pin to the brain will kill anything.
