Stunted?

these barred rocks are the smallest in the flock, they haven’t laid an egg yet and are 30 weeks. The slw in the background of one of the photos hasn’t laid yet either. Are they stunted? Their combs are very small. They have been showing some submissive squatting(not to me so I can’t confirm it) but very little. Are they stunted?

As it's coming into winter for you then they may not lay until spring. But you might get the odd egg soon if some are squatting.

Don't worry, I had an Orpington pullet who was laying, turned one in Autumn, decided to molt like the older girls so that was it for eggs from her until spring. Her sister didn't moult but she lays about 10 eggs, then goes broody. It's not worth breaking her as I'd have to do it again about every couple of weeks (and I really can't be bothered)! Birds!
