stupid assumptions people make about others

I get a lot "you're judgemental because you're a Christian" and that is so not true. I love people.

I may have different views on things than others but I'm not going to judge/slam-down on someone because they are different or have total opposite opinions than them... If someone is interested in what I believe I will tell them, but if they disagree I will respect that.

I just felt like saying this just to clarify my other post and make sure I was on the same page with you all, as I truly am.

I never liked Jello, till my mother started making it with ice cream and she'd whip it with an egg beater. Really good. But otherwise plain jello is feh!

I get a lot of: "You're a crazy chicken person"...

Just because I'm crazy and have chickens....

I feel like they're making a pretty big assumption about me being a 'person'

Seriously though, it can be trying to deal with people who say things or treat people based on assumptions, but when they do it, it sort of "outs" them as a judgmental knucklehead, so at least you know what you're dealing with.

just read these threads I can relate to them ,my mother hated me because I wasn't a boy even though she had my brother ! according to her I was no good at anything never would be ,went through my life feeling useless, a bad marriage ,divorced ,my son doesn't speak to me don't know why thank goodness I have my daughter and granddaughters .found out my friends weren't really friends ,now I just have a couple of close ones ,finally living my life the way I like taking no notice if people laugh at me ,at age 70 I have earned the right !

I'm going out on a limb here, and assume your family is Chinese or at least your mother .
