they will eat almost anything, question is, is it good for them? I have no idea, mine love banana but the peel i am not so sure the high level of potassium is good for them

I would agree they eat anything ..I threw some melon skin in yesterday thinking they would just eat the melon left on there ...but how wrong was i..The peel is no longer in the run so im assuming they ate it ..or threw it out which i cant really see happening

I read here a long time ago that someone had chickens that would eat the banana peels. I'd be a little concerned about them being so stringy, wouldn't they potentially impact the crop?
