Got this beautiful whispy onyx with a sty- I think on her eye. I cleaned it and it wasnt seeping or anything. But today her eye is shut. Will her eye reopen when this goes away?

Her eye was open yesterday. Nothing wrong the eyeball. Today there's a little crust and eye doesn't open. I want to know if I should leave alone or pull openNeed better, in focus pictures. Need to see the eye itself. May need help to hold the bird, hold the eye open, and take the pictures.
Thank you. I was told by the seller that it is a sty and it will go away but then when her eye closed, I wanted to make sure of my treatment.Maybe rinse with saline or a warm compress to wash the gunk holding it closed, don’t pry it open, that could be painful.
Thank you. Once the crust comes off I'm sure it will open on it own. I'll do the warm compress.Use warm, wet compresses to loosen the gunk so the eye can open. Flush it out well once open, use sterile saline or eye wash. Look for any debris, pus, injury. You can use plain neosporin or Terramycin eye ointment (many tractor supply stores and feed stores carry it, no prescription required) a couple of times a day.
Thank you. Once the crust comes off I'm sure it will open on it own. I'lldo the warm compress. It opened.![]()
