Hey guys, I posted a while ago about my splash Sumatra chick, Birdie. Since then Birdie has grown up quiet a bit so I’m wanting to know what you guys think Birdie is (pullet or roo) since she’s matured a little. Birdie is a little over 3 months now so I’m hoping it’s obvious.

Please excuse the lack of tail feathers which I know makes it harder to sex him/her without them. I believe my silkie pulled them out but I’m not sure

Really? That’s great. I was worried since everyone started to doubt she was a pullet. Also her beak looked a little large lately. Not sure if that means anything though. Might just be her.
I base my opinion on the thin legs, the small, pale comb, and lack of other male characteristics. I'm pretty sure it's a pullet, but stay tuned for what others have to say. A good consensus will be the most accurate in sexing her/him.

Thanks. Hopefully some Sumatra breeders or keepers chime in as well. I know they’re not a common breed...and it is New Years haha!
