That's a very attractive colt! Should grow up into a very sharp looking attractive horse.

My mum breeds clevland bays, my brother has a clevland mare and my mum has a stallion and I have a big 17 hand clevland mare. I also have two others a Connemara and a thouroughbred with a splash of welsh. My thouroughbreds sir is stood ares winning way but his mum lets his breeding down, but other wise he is a well bred horse, but I don't like him. Because of the thouroughbred he is a bit of a fizz head.

I'm hoping to get a page for the chicken when we are more set up.

And for those of you who are into dogs here is my dads website http://www.rosetintedkennels.co.uk/.

Very nice! I have always loved the sport horses, Cleveland Bays are beautiful, The dogs are cool, I have never heard of them before, I love the wirehair, it gives their faces a lot of character!

NY Reds, you are totally taking this as if I am angry, I am NOT! I am not upset with all judges, if that is what you are thinking. I am just saying my point of view, everyone has one. Its the people that take everything the wrong way, and true, if your not with someone face to face, its hard to interpret through writing the inflections of voice, I am passionate, I have learned that you have to find out what a particular judge is looking for a use what works for that. With horses, its like some like a nice headset, or a slower jog, or for someone to stay on the rail and not have to pass.. its how you learn what judges are looking for and use it, if your going to show in the show world, is it right? Guess its something each one of us, has to decide what we want to do. My whole thing is that the standard, should be in place to preserve a breed, otherwise, rewrite it as you change the breed. Change the weights, I have a Faverolle that is from a very good breeder who is 3lbs over the standard and he is still young he will probably be 4lbs over by the time he's done growing and he's what you see winning.. It starts to seem in large fowl, bigger is better, but that is what the standard says, those are the things I don't understand. I totally understand about birds not showing well if it's hot or their to excited or not excited. I understand that. I know some judges don't like Double show for that reason, I was just pointing out that it is preference and yes maybe the bird might be showing different in the morning than the afternoon, I am not upset by it. I was just meaning that everyone has different preferences, and that is fine,

I never assumed you were angry. My point to you was simply that you might consider the possibility that your interpretation of the Standard wasn't spot-on. But apparently your confidence level doesn't allow you to consider the possibility you might be wrong but rather that anyone who differs from you must be wrong.

oh thanks Zach N houdan I like them a lot the black you where saying that is small she is really big in real life she is one of the more bigger hens I have but I can see why you said she looked small she looks small in the photo. I have some black cockerels they are still young so it is hard to tell whether or not they are as good as my other males. lets just say I have a lot of cockerels right know!!
yes i have a lot of cockerels too and its good to here that hen is large then its seems cause besides what i sai about her size I really liked her.

thanks! I don't seem to get a lot of pullets that are as good as my cockerels that is why I have more of the cockerels than I do the pullets but I hope this year I get some good pullets. is your female line better than your males line or is your males line better than your females? some years I will get some good pullets. but most years it is the cockerels that have the better qualities.my pullets don't have very big heads I prefer them to have bigger heads because they seem to place higher than the ones with smaller heads.

Thanks, I have a German wire haired pointer, he's a bad example and he isn't docked and he doesn't work but he has a nice character.
I love the look of the clevlands when they are in the sun and if they have dapples it looks lovely.

I'm getting annoyed with my cockerels I have three Sumatras a Araucanas and then my brother has a golden brahma.
Last week was bad my Araucana ripped his spur of and two of my Sumatras had a fight.
So I've decided electric poultry wire isn't the way forward as they just hop out and go fight.so now my young breeding cockerel Sid is in a coop and his tail is getting ruined.
