this is exactly what he says in showbirdbid I think it is clear on what he was talking about.

Well coming from Doug Akers ( the president of the Sumatra Association) I would hope he is talking about the body size/ height, not the weight. And that is how I had read what he had written. Because if he is encouraging breeders to not go by the weight listed in the SOP, he is wrong. And any breeder (no matter how big/small of a breeder they are) that says to not go with the weight in the SOP for any breed, is wrong.

On the south is really common to see America games in hennie feather
I have seen hennie feathered orientals on aseel ,ganoi,Thais they been around for years
I think some breeders don't breed hf to hf for genetic defects if you keep breeding in a line breeding.
Not sure.
One of my hen is from so many oriental crosses she has frog eyes, hennie feathered.

Hens hennie feathered saddle feathers are more rounded than normal hens feathers.
That's one thing to look for in hens some roosters will have a mix of hennie feathers and rooster feathers most when only one parent was hennie feathered
