my one hen gave me an egg every other day from spring thru just a few weeks ago. that was her 1st year though...

Here is an update on our mystery chick. It's a tiny rooster, probably some kind of bantam.

Thanks. He was supposed to be a Black Australorp pullet and we got him from a lady who had gotten him from Dunlap hatchery in Caldwell, ID.

If they have a website look thru their catalog for a breed that looks like he does. That's how I figgered out what I got in my surprise special order from ideal.
