littlechicklet I just love that dragonfly print. I have done a quilt for my oldest daughter in purples and greens.
I love it (again) every time I see it, the colors are very restful.

I really liked the dragonfly print too. I would like to do a quilt in purples & greens but next on my list is a quilt for my son. I am going to try to get it done by Christmas. Riley Blake has a new line called Zombie Apocalypse and I think he will get a kick out of it. I almost have my sewing & craft room done so I will have a good place to work.

Okay, so amidst the unannounced no-longer-participant line I must admit that sometimes when I look at blocks finished for a swap I want to keep them!:) There's nothing like knowing you paid more attention to ones you know will be seen/handled by others so of course they turn out prettier than rush jobs. But alas I know that I had joined a swap and THAT was the reason the blocks were made so there is a sense of responsibility if not simple respect to send them. Otherwise, even posting a simple 'something is going on right now

Sorry- hit the wrong button! A simple 'something is going on right now so the block swap isn't a priority right now' would be nice. Don't get discouraged- our quilts will be wonderful!

I find that with these swaps and the commitment and accountability I actually get more work done because I make more blocks than needed so I can keep them or I am working on a totally different block for me, and of course I enjoy the swap part getting blocks from all over and with each persons individuality. Well if we are told soon enough that one can't complete their commitment then some one else could possibly take their place.

I am learning now how to quilt ,this swap looks like fun hope it is done again so I can join. Gives me plenty of time to get it right.
