Hey, congratulations!

thanks! so exciting! i literally looked to check up on my sweet hen laying the egg, and right in front of me, pop! out came the little white egg! she looked in between her legs like, "did i just produce that?" and waited a couple minutes, then got up and left. she seemed very tired. i picked up the egg. it had a tiny streak of blood, but was otherwise perfect. earlier, i had seen her gently peck the ground happily, then all of the sudden, she rushed into the nesting boxes to lay.she seemed quite panicked. her man seems happy with her. recently he finally got mating with her right! and she didn't even resist.
so many exciting things going on!

yeah i know right my 11 pound roo is mating with my Dorking girls and the have not started laying yet!and they way about 4 pounds at the most

Sorry, stuck in bed recovering from surgery due to a failed surgery. Can't help wife take care of birds or do anything.

Other than that, life is good!
