Sorry, stuck in bed recovering from surgery due to a failed surgery. Can't help wife take care of birds or do anything.

Other than that, life is good!

Aww, that rough. I hope this recovery goes lots better. As far as you other half, she'll appreciate all you do to help her. Sending healing vibes your wsy. :fl

Hope it isn't a misplaced question.

What kind of failed surgery are you recovering from?

Sorry you can't be out and about with your wife or birds.

My cat would argue that being in bed is a good thing.

100% blockage in artery going to legs, zero blood flow so I had an aorta bifemoral bypass last Xmas, should have lasted till I die, it lasted 7mths. The left side failed and had to be reopened. Hopefully 2nd times a charm!

Sorry to hear about that. How long do you have to be on bed rest?

I'd imagine that's a pretty extensive surgery to have done twice in a year.

I remember my grandfather having a stent put in his leg, was supposed to stay on bed rest for 2 weeks and he didn't listen.

I'd agree, fingers crossed that the second times a charm.

Walked after 2 days, well, moved very well for condition. Home on 3rd day. Compared to first surgery, this was gentle. Im sure I'm suppose to lay longer than I do, but im suppose to start doing things slowly, my main thing to avoid is coughing. One cough, I could easily be back in hospital. Coughed once there, unreal aftermath. Oh and making sure house pet baby goat Piccolo doesn't leap on my wound.
