Sunburn?

My Buff Orpington chick at 2 1/2 months was attacked by an older hen and essentially scalped. Is growing back well, and still has both eyes but there is still a dime sized scab left on the top of her head (this occurred in May, 2018). No biggie, is still healing nice but I am a little afraid that no feathers will grow back. Keep in mind it was all of her head and neck, right down to the skull. She is a little bigger than a regular bantam hen right now, while the other buff has grown to be as large as my Black Sex links. Could she be stunted forever? Also, if no feathers grow back on her head, should I worry about sunburn?

Following because the same thing happened to my silkie. A cat attacked it and it’s healed up well but it’s about a third of the size of the others now.
