Sunnyside Up

FluffyChickenMama,

That's how we do it in Arkansas. As a teenager I worked at a restraunt and a guy would order 12 eggs over easy with 6 of them having ketchup on them and the other 6 have mustard on them.

The key to sunny side up eggs being done and this is something my grandma showed me. Put the pan on the stove on high, put grease or butter whatever you want then put the eggs in and then put a cover on. After one minute or 30 secs depends on stove, turn off the heat and take pan off the heat and let it finish. Test the yolk you can tell by appearance if its not runny.

You will have perfect sunny side up eggs this way.

No. You mix them in a bowl and then DON'T scramble them in the pan. You keep them together in one big fried circle. That's what you get when you order a fried egg at a resturant down here.

Scrabbled is eggs fried and while being SCRABBLED in the pan.

Fried eggs is one big circle of eggs that have been beaten in a bowl before you fry them.

I guess we can't handle cooking more than one egg at a time when it comes to frying an eggs

Y'all just remember that the states in America are like different countries sometimes. We all say things differently. How about this, if I fry some eggs tomorrow then I'll take a picture and post it.

Hogs head cheese was so named because it was packed in the head of a hog. My grandmother was from Sweden and she made delicious hogs head cheese, I made it once with her, it contained pork meat and a lot of pork fat layered with spices and pressed to make it firm. No longer able to procure a "head" she would mold it into a oven proof casserole...

Trish,

What I meant was we only fry one egg at a time instead of several like you were talk. I was saying maybe people from Arkansas can only handle one egg at a time because it was too hard do to more than one.

I'm so use to people from other forums making fun of people from Arkansas and being mean about it. I figured I opened myself up for a put down on people from Arkansas. I knew you wouldn't do it.
