Supermarket Chick Questions

Thanks everyone :) I recommend trying it if you can, very exciting when it works!

Skunks!!? How sad :( I think all I will have to worry about is the neighbours cat and the odd fox around where I live!

To be honest I’m half hoping for 1 male and 1 female, just so I have a great excuse to try hatching some more fluff balls :D:D
Yeah, I missed a spot and the skunks dug in. I think it was a mother and babies because they got my whole flock of breeders, over a dozen birds, in one night. :( As far as predators go, I guess I could be dealing with worse. At least I don't have the big ones like coyotes, mountain lions, or bears.

Picture update on my two little babies!!! They are now about 16 days old. :love
To my very inexperienced eye the brown wild type one (named Pickle) has a speckled breast so i’m guessing she is female? But Tiny, the other one, I’m unsure about due to the goldy yellowy colouring. I’m guessing I won’t be able to tell till later? Anyone have any idea?
They’re such characters I love them!!

Thanks for posting a recent picture. The little cinnamon colored one ia beautiful! It looks like it caught up in size to it's sibling.
I love the sound of a coturnix crow., it is very unique
The first time mine crowed I looled around like "what the heck was THAT?" It's more like a wild bird warble.
