I was just gifted an established superworm farm from a friends whose reptile died. Any way my chicks are 8 weeks old, im just reading its not safe to feed them? I dont think ill keep the farm going as im reading they bite and my kids like to help, they wont like being bitten (and neither will I)

Any advice/experience would be great

Thanks.

They are not recommended for birds because they can chew their way out of the bird and kill it in the process. Since you already have them, take off their heads to make sure they are dead before feeding them or even chop them into pieces. You may want to try raising a mealworm colony instead.
