Well I was offered a male saddleback for Stella
I wasn’t going to be getting her Nate till next spring but he has fallen on my lap
We will see how today goes
So far he is pretty chill just a bit loud but it’s a new environment for him

Always that one...
Moe, Larry and Curly seem to figure things out and stick together but not poor Shemp. She manages to go passed the house door instead of going in, same with walkway to the pen etc. Seems to find herself without her sisters because of it and panics. Shemp is a special little duck.

I found a way to make my abusers happy
Bought some reusable fly catchers off Amazon
Once the bag had a good amount I emptied some into the water dish
Free protein and happy ducks
I highly recommend these if you have flies you want gone

Thanks for sharing. I don't really get too many flies as it seems my Muscovy Ducks are great at catching them in midair, lol. That looks like a good idea though.

I ordered one just now because of all of the flies outside the pen by our back door. My Ducks will love having them in their water.

They swarm around my duck coop 2 ducks isnt enough for all the flies.

Mine eat them mid air to but we had so many this year
I couldn’t handle it
They still get the ones flying around but I can enjoy sitting out with them now with no issues
