That is a pretty powerful lobby group ... Did you know there is a Canadian chapter? CCDAC (Canadian Coalition...) If you've heard a Canada goose honk you know how to pronounce it... They are proud members. No one wants to argue the fact they are not actually ducks... Best just to give them membership cards and say nothing...

I have never been so happy to see hundreds of Canadian geese in the Fields the other day
Could it be
Could spring really be coming
I really hope they weren’t just messing with me
The next day a had a bunch fly over my place heading south again

Grapes are too expensive to give to my ducks. I very rarely buy them as it is for my kids. We give them worms and grubs and little fishes we find in the Creek.

Ahh, reminds me of whenever I buy my ducks goldfish from petsmart. They leave them swimming around like they have no idea they're there until finally only one of them gulps down $20 worth of fish in one sitting

I had my siblings over today and it’s the first time my sister has seen my ducks
We were on the top deck looking over at them
Then my two trouble maker boys germ and beaker saw poor diva daisy and ran to get her
She of course started to freak out before they even got close
Quacking like her life would never be the same
In my head I’m thinking daisy it’s only 3 seconds of your time
Never seen a girl more terrified of 3 seconds before lol
So of course I feel bad for my favourite duck and send my 7 year old granddaughter to go save her
As the kids were all playing in the yard
Averie goes over and next thing you know she has those two boys doing the walk of shame back over to the rest of the ducks
I was laughing so hard
They actually listened to her and stopped chasing poor daisy
She will be a great duck mom one day

Oh trust me I buy the cheapest I can find (usually 20c apiece) I just always get suckered into buying 75

My Welsh Harlequins love collard greens, purple cabbage, and other things from my veggie garden...
I’ve never offered them fruit
Pretty sure they might mutiny if I did it once, and came back w veggies the next day
