I want more ducks, being greeted by a big beautiful flock each morning sounds so nice

It’s really neat to see them as a full flock but smaller flocks within it too
But the two you have are very loving with you and that’s amazing

Meanwhile Dougie was chasing me to the kitchen laughing and gobbling blueberries. And then how we just went upstairs after like why are you taking the duck to your room
Like "to go hang out with her sister, obviously."

So iconic . So I guess I've missed some stuff (or I'm just awful at paying attention), did you have the incubator in your room and also the brooder type of thing? Or did they wear diapers?

Oh yeah! They stayed inside as house ducks for a while!
The incubator was right by my bed, then the brooder was also in my room

Once they were teens they had a pen that took up a lot of my room lol, they didn't really wear diapers, I just cleaned up after them and they spent most of their time in their pen or outside in a DIY pen (in the daytime).
Had them inside for a loooong time until I finally had the coop and final pen finished, they were past laying age by then.

Aww they are so cute! Mine have started doing this to, they are so cute and they sound like they are getting their quack!

I can relate . But I think my family is slowly starting to be fine with them in the garage for a few weeks each time I hatch or get ducklings

Having them inside isn't an experience I'm keen to repeat. I was constantly cleaning their pen, windows open, and it still stank most of the time

I feel like the garage, the outside where the ducks are, everything like that is already so messed up that all I have left sometimes is my room and especially with a carpeted room that's a recipe for disaster for me
