Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

Lovely thing about having so many birds, I can't tell who is who and who is having some emotional problem. It's more of yeah that one ain't moving lets see what is happening which is either broken leg or stuck in a sage brush plant.
They all follow each other no matter what mental problem they have, I don't have to babysit them (you ain't coming no problem here comes a goose/gander/geese to move you), feed them twice a day, water them in the morning, and close the door at dusk since they all want to be in the Waddle Wattle Inn no matter if it's the geese/ducks or guinea fowl. They work as a unit and it took a lot of training to get them to, but worth it in the end, I whistle they are coming all 49.

I feel well enough to report on my trauma now.

I fell asleep on the lawn. Woke up with a duck butt in my face. Little guy decided I was a comfy bed to snooze on. Didn’t think much of it until I noticed the stream of cecal down my neck, shoulder, and sleeve.…..
Oh my goodness, this is one of the most abusive cases yet!

Temperatures down below zero, all water leaked out of their water cistern (1500 gallons) due to temperatures and I'm out there twice a day with a rock breaker bar breaking up ice in their pond to get them buckets of water. About foot of snow on the ground and they aren't coming out of their house, I don't blame them.
Worse start of a winter yet in 6 years.

Although I’m not having water issues I am feeling your winter pain
It’s been mid -10 to -20 c and snow
We built a 10x12 covered / enclosed outdoor area I keep feed and water in
My ducks also won’t go outside unless it’s -10C or Warmer
Anything colder they stay in the in
I used clear panels for the outdoor area so the sun can help ti warn it up
I have electrical so I can have heated water buckets

I have electrical in mine too with windows, but trying to be sparingly as I'm off grid, haven't had sunlight in 4 days and running a generator is last on my things to want to do.

We usually get snow this time of year and melted next day, not this storm. Started with ice storm that wasn't in the warning then came snow 3 days straight with temperatures reluctantly to get to 20°F -6°C. We never get below 0°F or to 0°F till December, this storm got us to -2°F -19°C
Might hit -40° C or F as they are the same by December instead of January/Feb.
