I bought these eggs before I joined BYC from an auction on e-bay. They were supposed to be blue Araucana eggs but I dont think they were, only one egg was blue like the pics (the others were green like my ee lay) and out of all the eggs only two hatched but at least the only blue egg was the first!

this is the chick at 5+ weeks old is it or is it just an EE. Oh she got a little peck mark on her beak that is what the red mark is.

well she came from the only blue egg I have ever gotten (so far I am trying....) and I am sure it is a pullit her egg mate has spayed leg and is seperated seems to be only the one leg so I am useing it an a heater for chicks and allowing it to be the "big" bird even though it is quiet small. I did not think she could possibly be a full Araucana but she did come from my special egg so I will keep her no matter what. maybe I will breed her to my black silkie lol....

since she looks tailed and has the muff/beard I say she is an ameraucana cross and not araucana, which would make her an EE. Hope it is a pullet and lays a nice blue egg for you

I can't see the comb well enough to tell gender, but I am leaning toward pullet since it doesn't appear to be getting red...

I agree that she is an EE due to the fact that she appears to be a cross. She does look like she has some Araucana in her to me. Whatever she is, she's a cutie
