I remember so well those long, long Christmas Eves waiting for the kids to go to sleep so we could finish up all the things we needed to do! One thing for certain - those days will be gone much too soon. We had our Christmas celebrations with our children and grandchildren earlier this week - and now they're off to visit the other side of their families. Quiet Christmases are wonderful and relaxing - but I still miss the excitement of having Christmas morning with little ones.
